Programming Help

The TG40 System enables programming of each row at the same or different temperatures. The following recommendations provide assistance in setting up the temperature programs.

Guidelines for Temperature Programming
When defining the temperature of each row of the TG40 System, there are operating parameters to keep in mind.

  1. There is a software limit to maximum and minimum temperature of each row based on the ambient temperature and the temperature of the adjacent rows.
  2. Generally, each row can only differ in temperature from the adjoining row(s) by 4ºC or less.
  3. Every row can be at the same temperature, or the rows can all be set at different temperatures.
  4. The TG40 System can cool the coldest row to 16ºC below ambient laboratory temperature.  At 20ºC the coldest row (row 1) can be set to a minimum of 4ºC, at 24ºC the coldest row can be set to 8ºC.
